  • Desiderata & Sun Salutations

8 Poses to wake up your soul and manifest a productive flow. Mountain Pose Upward Salute Standing Forward Fold Standing Half Forward Fold High Plank Staff Pose Cobra Downward Dog Desiderata --written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920's-- Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far a possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations of spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there are greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is the real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

  • Self Love Yoga Warm Up

8 poses to align your energies and manifest whole body love. Child's Pose Cat/Cow High Plank Downward Facing Dog High Lunge Low Lunge Downward Facing Dog Child's Pose This is Something Robert M. Drake This is something about self-love- something they don't teach in school. something that is very hard to learn on your own. This is something about putting yourself first because it's okay to love yourself before anyone else. This is something about doing what's best for you, no matter what people say, because only you know what you deserve. This is something about being real being real to who you are and accepting things as they come and change. This is something about your mistakes, about your flaws, and about how beautiful it is to get up and try again. This is something about being you, about using your voice when you are afraid. about building enough courage when you feel like standing up to something you don't believe in. Something that's wrong. This is about you and everyday should be about you, and that's something you should always consider. Because self-love is one hell of a drug. It makes you invincible, and that kind of strength has never looked good on anyone other than you. So please take the time to focus on yourself, to love yourself and remember to put yourself back together every time you fall apart.
