All Living Creatures participate in cosmic consciousness. In fact , all so-called inert objects participate in it, too. -Deepak Chopra Peanut Butter Snickerdoodle Cookies Easy and Delicious cookies. Make them on the Snow Moon to manifest warmth and comfort on the last days of winter. 4oz of Butter (softend) 3/4 cups of sugar 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1 cup Creamy peanut butter 1 egg 1 tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup flour 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup sugar 2 teaspoons of cinnamon Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the peanut butter and mix until thoroughly combined. In a small bowl mix together egg, milk, and vanilla. In a second bowl mix flour, salts, baking powder and soda. Combine the egg mixture with the butter mixture. Add the dry ingredients and wet ingredients in a large bowl and mix until dough forms. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and store in fridge over night. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Make the sugar cinnamon coating by mixing them together in a small bowl. Scoop dough into balls. Shape with hands in to round 1 1/2 teaspoon size ball and roll in cinnamon sugar. Place on prepared baking sheets. Create patterns with a fork to flatten. Bake for 8 mins then rotate and bake for 4-5mins until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Old Fashioned Potato Soup Quick and easy, a nourishing soup that warms you on chilly nights. 2 tablespoons of butter 2 table spoons of olive oil 1 cup onion (diced) 1 garlic clove (diced) 1 teaspoon of dried herbs (oregano, dill, basil, whatever you have in your cupboard.) 21/2 lbs (5 cups) peeled and diced potatoes 4 cups chicken broth 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper Heat butter and oil in a large soup pot. Add garlic and onion cook until onions are translucent and add potatoes and herbs. Cook until potatoes are soft, adding chicken broth slowly. When potatoes are fully cooked add rest of chicken broth, milk and cornstarch. Heat until boiling then add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Garnish with cheese and bacon. An old Scandinavian custom is to wear a crown of lit candles. Imbolc is a time for self-dedication rituals, when new witches commit to the path of wicca. Symbols of the seasons are snowflakes, white flowers, cinnamon, frankincense and rosemary. Snow can be melted and used for circle casting and spells. Imbolc Bath Ritual for purification and renewal 1 cup powdered milk 1/2 cup honey 1/3 cup coconut oil large pieces of lemon peel lavender essential oil clary sage essential oil several white candles It is traditional to light every lamp in the house, just after sunset or light candles in every room. Egg Drop Soup 1 Quart (4 cups) Vegetable Broth 1 Carrot (diced) 4 scallions (chopped) 1/2 pound firm tofu (cubed) 2 eggs sesame oil soy sauce Saute carrots, scallions, tofu and oil a few mins. In a large pot heat vegetable broth and sauteed ingredients until boiling. Remove from heat and add eggs, stirring slowly until egg "flowers" form. Add soy sauce to taste. Natural Laundry Soap 10 drops grapefruit essential oil 10 drops of lavender essential oil 1 Cup baking soda 1 Cup borax 1 Cup powdered Castile soap Mix essential oils with baking soda thoroughly drop by drop. Combine this with borax and soap and mix again. Store in covered container. Use 1/2 cup for each load of laundry. All-purpose spray Borax, vinegar and soap will dissolve dirt and greasy residues on surfaces. Lavender and rosemary have natural antiseptic properties. 1teaspoon of borax 2 cups warm water 2 tablespoons white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon liquid dish soap 10 drops lavender oil 10 drops rosemary oil Combine borax and water in a spray bottle and shake well. Add vinegar and soap and essential oils and shake again. With your hands work in butter and egg yolk until well blended. Chill dough and preheat oven to 325. Shape dough into crescents. Little moons! Bake for 15-20 mins

Soul Salad Butter Avocado Bacon Corn Romaine Lettuce Walnuts Mozzarella Ginger sesame dressing Saute Corn, bacon, walnuts and butter. Chop lettuce into smaller pieces. Chop avocado in small squares. Mix sauteed ingredients with the lettuce and avocado in a large bowl, add dressing and avocado. Enjoy under a full moon for soul renewal.
