Plant Meditation
Visualize your consciousness traveling from the center of your being out through your arms and fingers into the leaves and stems of a plant. Any plant will do. Explore its inner nature; sense the miraculous processes of life at work within it. Breathe.
Wildflower Divination
A traditional Vernal Equinox pastime is to collect wildflowers. Randomly or intentionally gather wildflowers in a field or park. The flowers you choose reveal your inner thoughts and emotions. Books and many websites have flower meanings and correspondences. Let your intuition guide you.
Ritual Spring Equinox Walk
It is important at this time to plan a walk through gardens, a park, woodlands, forests and other green spaces. This is not simply exercise. It is not even an appreciation of nature. Make your walk celebratory, a ritual for nature itself. Every step a prayer.
The Simple Feast
Linking your meals with the seasons is a simple method of attuning with nature.
Seeds- Pumpkin, Sesame, and Pine nuts
Sprouts
Edible Flowers
Leafy Greens
Green Vegetables

Mysteries, Yes
by Mary Oliver
Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous to be understood.
How grass can be nourishing in the mouths of lambs.
How rivers and stones are forever in allegiance with gravity,
while we ourselves dream of rising.
How two hands touch, and the bonds will never be broken.
How people come, from delight or the scars of damage,
to the comfort of a poem.
Let me keep my distance, always
from those who think they have answers.
Let me keep company, always
with those who say "look"
and laugh in astonishment
and bow their heads.
